For greater convenience, you can apply for a Thai e-Visa before traveling to Thailand. If approved, it can allow you to stay continuously for 60 days.
How It Differs from Visa on Arrival
With E-Visa you can get approve immediately for up to 60 days. If your e-Visa is approved and you want to stay longer after the initial 60 days, you can apply for a 30-day extension at a Thai immigration office.

Who Can Apply for a Thai e-Visa?
- You must be outside Thailand: Applicants must be outside Thailand when submitting their application. You cannot apply for a Thai e-Visa while you are already in Thailand.
- You must be in a supported country: You must be legally residing in a country or territory where a Thai Embassy or Consulate-General offers the e-Visa service.
- You must meet the visa requirements: Eligibility depends on the type of visa you are applying for. Tourist, business and Non-Immigrant visas have different requirements and supporting documents.
